History of Almond

The history of almonds goes back to the old Babylon. According to historians, the history of almonds begins in Babylon and that is one of the oldest foods.
China and Central Asia are known as the homeland of almond.It is known that almonds ate travelers on the Silk Road between Asia and Europe.Travelers were brought Almond to Greece, Turkey and the Middle East.It is known that Almon has been  growen in the Mediterranean for many years, especially in Spain and Italy.
Almond is from the same family as cherry, plum and peach.Almond, apricots and peaches have been brought to Turkey thousands of years ago.Almond has a wide variety due to their production with seeds.In addition,other types of almond have been brought, such as are Texsas and Nonpareil and others.
